MY ROLE & OBJECTIVE:
Multidisciplinary Creative-As a Designer and Art Director, I was tasked with developing a compelling brand identity and visual concept for a company introducing a new line of pimple patches. This included designing TTL assets such as logo design, print materials, posters, out-of-home advertising, and digital presence.
STRATEGIC APPROACH:
After researching this product category and understanding the target audience, I conducted a small survey. I discovered that the younger demographic prefers to showcase pimple patches in a cool and trendy way rather than just using them to cover pimples. With this insight, I designed new pimple patches and provided opportunities for consumers to create their own through social media engagement. I then crafted a cohesive visual identity featuring fresh imagery, vibrant colors, bold yet friendly typography, and a playful communication style.
DESIGN APPROACH:
The new logo was crafted to instantly convey the product's message and service in a playful and engaging manner. A vibrant and fun color palette was chosen to reflect the product's energetic appeal. The unique designs of the pimple patches were seamlessly integrated into the overall design, presented in a captivating and lighthearted style.
Flexible templates were developed to incorporate human elements when necessary, effectively communicating specific messages or services. Bold yet friendly typography was selected to complement the concept. Quirky headlines were employed to enhance the brand's personality and appeal, adding a distinctive touch to the overall communication.
